Finger Lickin’ Fries
We partnered with Mother and Social Chain to launch KFC’s New Seasoned Fries. Generating 150K searches for the fries on 𝕏 in the first 24 hours.
When it comes to their fries, KFC had the least appropriate tagline. So they began by acknowledging the fact that they really aren’t finger lickin’ good.
Tease
This year, over 1,000 people on 𝕏 had posted complaints about KFC’s fries. So we bravely went where no brand goes and attempted to apologise to them all. Getting customers excited about what might be coming next.
Admin then promised to do something about it, and speak to “the big man” about making some changes (that’s Colonel Sanders to you and all of us).
The outpouring of love, gratitude and well wishes (plus some more complaints) for admin was clear to see.
Launch
With the 𝕏 community leant in, we finally announced new finger lickin’ fries by revealing a hashtag that made it rain KFC fries.
We didn’t stop there. Since we were making it rain fries on 𝕏, we made it literally rain fries in KFC restaurants.
Threatened, competitors tried to get in on the action.
And then, the people did their thing.
